Fix Duo Camera Not Working on Mac

1. Check for System Updates
   • Click on the Apple menu on the top left corner and choose System Preferences.
   • Select Software Update and install any available updates.
2. Grant Camera Access to Duo
   • Open System Preferences and go to Security & Privacy.
   • Select the Privacy tab and then click on Camera from the left sidebar.
   • Ensure that the checkbox next to Duo is ticked.
3. Check Duo Camera Settings
   • Open the Duo app on your Mac.
   • Click on the Settings icon in the bottom left corner.
   • Under the Video section, select your preferred camera from the Camera dropdown.
4. Reset the SMC
   • For MacBooks with a T2 chip:
   • Shut down your Mac.
   • Press and hold the Shift + Control + Option keys along with the power button for 7 seconds.
   • Release all keys and then press the power button to turn on your Mac.
   • For Macs without a T2 chip:
   • Shut down your Mac.
   • Press and hold the Shift + Control + Option keys along with the power button for 10 seconds.
   • Release all keys and then press the power button to turn on your Mac.
5. Contact Duo Support
   • Visit the Duo Help Center at https://help.duo.com.
   • Submit a support ticket or contact their live chat support.
